1/2013 to 9/2014 – Manager, Cloud Architecture & Performance Engineering

·   Architected design recommendations for consumer-facing cloud hosting environment using Citrix CloudStack orchestration for multi-tenancy, internal architectural design, storage performance and concurrent functionality.

·   Designed test plans and technical performance documentation (used for pre-post-sales support) for Jboss/SOA/Linux SaaS environment using APM techniques (service distribution, dependency and SOA inter-process communication for increased performance. The SOA was a Jboss AS design comprising various application component process services running in a VMware virtualized cluster environment.

·   E-Commerce SaaS cloud-brokerage platform to deliver small to medium sized organizations for enterprise goods and services. The components consisted of an integrated data-driven retail storefront; operational support system (admin and customer portals); PCI compliant billing platform and a provisioning subsystem (developed in ASP.net). The platform was suffering from performance issues and performance testing started. Detailed technical documentation was designed and authored.

·   Researched and tested Linux kernel, Windows Server 2012, and cloud design performance optimizations; VMDq, and SR-IOV technology.

·   Tested VPS (virtual web hosting) environment to determine concurrency, performance and scalability. Detailed technical documentation was designed and authored.

·   Designed and tested Backup/Recovery testing of cloud environment for performance and scalability. Detailed technical documentation was designed and authored.
